Is it normal that my baby's father will not look at or touch my belly?

I'm 33 weeks along, so it's not like he can't see it. He makes me feel like a mutant. We're not together, so he doesn't think he should have to. It makes me so upset that i cry for hours. I don't know why this bothers me so much and I can't understand why he won't even look at it. He doesn't want to feel him move or anything. Has anyone else experienced this kind of behavior?
