Should i talk to him?

ok i kind of like this guy but i am way to shy to talk to him. he use to always say hey to me and even had a nickname for me. then my friends started to say tht we wuld make a good cpl. soo then i started to lik him cuz hes nice and cute. but then when i told my friends tht i lik him they started to talk to him and say stuff lik "ooo u shuld go out with her" and he wuld say "she wuld never lik me and i want be close friends with her first." but nothin really happen cuz i was always too shy to talk to him and idk how he felt about me. but now he rides my bus and i want to talk to him but then i dnt want things to get akward and weird.
