African Americans- How does it feel to see a president of the same ethnicity?

I am trying to work on a book and am just brainstorming for some Ideas. I am also curious about how you feel about race relations? hopeful? indifferent? give me some ideas! And did you vote for him because of race and be honest. I voted for him because I agree with his platform and I like his character and know the things he has done for others. Also I am curious what you thought about John Mc Cains concession speech? Thank you
