Tow package for F250?

If the gross weight of your trailer is less than 3000 pounds you just need a lighting kit. I just purchased one from Autozone or advanced auto for twenty bucks for my F-250. If its more than three thousand pound then your looking at trailer brakes. For trailer brakes there are a couple different options, there is the surge brake option where not modification to the vehicle is needed you can just get the lighting harness and the brake system is contained to the trailer. Or the electric brake option at witch point you will need to have a brake controler installed. last one I installed it was about $250
