Why is Kevin Garnett considered unselfish when he disappears from 4th quarters?

i agree with u..kevin girnett by far the most unselfish superstar in this league..but sometimes i think hes too unselfish and should shoot the ball little more.. i mean i saw the game yesterday, and i saw he had some good opportunities where he can drive to basket, or shoot, instead of doin that he decided to p..theres nothin wrong with that, but still i think he needs to shoot a little more..
