How much do you feel you should pay for a golf ball?

About 80% of the pockets in my golf bag are filled with ....and I didn't pay a cent for any one of them. Pro V1s are $50+ for a dozen, so the Nikes and the Callaways would be a little cheaper, I would imagine, but still too much. Instead, I work at a course as a marshal and "liberate" whatever I would find in the deep rough and use them. And yes, I do come across Pro V1s, Nikes, and Callaways....not a big fan of Callaways for approach shots though, but great for distance.
